Bipul Chettri

Bipul Chettri  is a singer/songwriter from Kalimpong, a town in Darjeeling district of West Bengal India. He sings folk music from the Eastern Himalayas with a contemporary western touch.
His debut album, Sketches of Darjeeling, was released in July 2014. His debut album 'Sketches of Darjeeling' was received by listeners with huge appreciation. Subsequently, he released the first Single ‘Syndicate’ from his follow-up album at the end of Jan ‘15 and climbed up to No. 1 after only two days. He was the 'Top Selling Artiste' for 2014-15, and was in the Top Ten for 2015-16, on OKListen.Com, an indie retail music site in India. He won the 'Pop-Rock Album of the Year' for 'Sketches of Darjeeling', 'Best Pop-Rock Composition of the Year' & 'Best Male Pop Vocal Performance of the Year' for his song Syndicate at the recently concluded Hero Hits FM 91.2 Awards.
Most of us know him by his two amazing songs more than his name. His songs, “Wildfire” and “Asaar” were two of those that have set an example in the Nepali music industry that, good songs are love even without music videos or even without any kind of promotions.
Lately his song“Syndicate” has taken him to a whole new level. His music is so pure. I find myself  lost in his music to whole new world. Every words in his song are so realistic and words repeated very few. He plays mostly Nepali folks songs in modern way and in unique way. His first song was Dadhelo(Wildfire). All of his songs are popular,”Asar”,”Deorali Darah”,”Rail Garee”,”Mann”,”Maya”,”Ram Sailee”,”Mountain High” etc are some of his songs I listen the most.
His songs are fun to play, but hard to learn. But if you are Guitarholic(probably there is not even a word)then it is not a problem for you. But for beginners you might find his songs bit difficult to play. But it is not impossible so try try until you cry.
Well!! If u really want to play his song first thing u need is a guitar, and a capo then u are ready to go!!

I will be posting some of his songs lyrics along with the guitar chords and tabs.
