Albatross

Albatross is a Nepali Band who started their journey from 1999 playing Hard Rock Music. They were school teenager wen started playing in band. Before Albatross was formed, the three members performed under the name Apple Sauce with Sunny playing the guitar, Max on Bass, and Avaya owning the drums. After Max’s departure from the band, Nitesh joined it on the vocals, while Avaya took on bass and Dipesh played the drums with Sunny playing the guitar as usual.Later Nitesh left and Shiris Dale came.

 This four man team formed the Albatross that is at present engrossed in so many performances in Nepal .The present band member of albatross are Shirish (vocals), Sunny (guitar), Diwas (guitar), Avaya (bass), Dipesh (drums). The song that got them recognized is timi bhaney.There latest albums are “Atti bhayo”, “Ma Ra Malai”.An album Xa” “Jo Jas Sanga Sambhandit xa” was a hit on year 2005.This album included popular songs:-“Khaseka Tara”, “koshish”,”Timi Bhane”, “Awaz”.Still they are favorites of many Nepalese Rock Music fan and has a huge fan in their Concerts.

 Their style of music is being changed from album to album. We can find huge difference in their album “Jo Jas Sanga Sambhandit xa” and in album “Ma Ra Malai”.
